1. Your Data Stays Local
Because GST Billing Pro is an offline-first desktop application using local SQLite storage, we do not collect, process, or store your customer data, invoices, inventory, or financial records on our servers. Your business data remains entirely on your machine unless you explicitly choose to configure cloud backups.
2. Data Collected by the Application
Currently, the only data transmitted to our servers includes:
- License activation keys and hardware IDs to prevent piracy.
- Basic telemetry for crash reporting (can be disabled in Settings).
- Billing information required when processing your subscription payments via our payment partner (Stripe).
3. Third-Party Services
If you connect third-party integrations (e.g., WhatsApp Official API, Twilio, NIC E-Way Bill servers), your data will be transmitted securely to those providers governed by their respective privacy policies.
