Current Status
GST Billing Pro does not expose a public invoice-write API yet. The current desktop release is still local-first, and cloud continuity is meant for backup snapshots and staged sync workflows rather than live concurrent writes from multiple PCs.
Planned API Direction
The next architecture layer introduces one authoritative writer for all critical mutations. The same contract will power:
- ✓ LAN Hub deployments for same-premise counters
- ✓ Cloud Workspace deployments for remote or multi-location teams
- ✓ Server-issued invoice numbering and idempotent stock mutations
Reminder And Messaging Integrations
Email reminder operations are the first live outbound channel. Assisted WhatsApp workflows are available in the app, while official provider-side API automation remains a later expansion item.
